March 28th, 2006 / Yawning away
Right, I confess. I no longer find blogging an interesting thing to do. It's no more an obligation, though all these while it has never been. The thrill of blogging, I no longer find amusing nor as spine-chilling as I thought. So I think I would just yawn through the process of typing out an interesting post, cause nothing is interesting to blog about. So untill next time. Ciao. ps: Deleted my old entries. Not because I want to, but because I can.
March 30th, 2006 / More Tea and Biscuits??
Erk. I have been very lazy ever since I came back from National Service. Now that I’m back into my ordinary life and there’s nothing much to keep me occupied these days. Most days I look back and think "What on earth did I do today?!" Today I finally woke up and read a book (applause) : Whiteout by Ken Follet. And I breaked for tea and biscuits at least 3 times and am now in my pj's in front of my computer. Pathetic, I know. =(
March 31st, 2006 / national service
Time really flies, and it has already been a MONTH since I came back from National Service. It all began on 1st January 2006 , when I started my much feared journey to the camp, Kem Bumimas, Sibu (freaking 6+ hours drive from Kuching). Many couldn't hold back their tears as they started to imagine what their life would possibly going to be without their loved ones; friends and family. It was indeed the first time for many of us to be away from home for so long – 3 months. But, during the 3 months period, we have learned a lot in term of first-hand experience and the importance of friendship. We came back on the 11st of March with a heavy heart, sored eyes after those cryings and well, bags of dirty clothes. I must admit that doing laundry all by myself is nothing but a whole new and great experience (Although some of my shirts turned out in different colours instead of the original one)! Haha! National service aside, life has been pretty good in general. I still can't drive and I'm still waiting for an an positive answer for my Petronas Scholarship application. So how's NS? I guess I had your question answered. ps: more photos here.
